Default Reset scale?

Just getting into Sketchup.
Most models use correct dimensions but one of the V1000 is x 10.
He's used cm instead of mm.
In the Sketchup for Dummies videos there's a tip for resetting a models dimensions with the tape tool and numeral input. However it doesn't seem to work for me.
Is that only in the paid version?
Can anyone tell me how to reset ynema's Lian-Li V1000 from cm to mm? His numbers are good. Just ten times too big.
Maybe reset it in the paid version if you have it, would be very gratefully received. It's in jazzles's components collection.
Cheers

I'd just click and drag around the whole model to select it, then use the Scale tool to resize the whole thing.

The version I'm using will go as far as 11% (0.11) but no further, so I'd first resize to 50% (0.50) then 20% of that (0.20).

Thanks mate. That's got me going. I didn't want to scale it 90% as some of the apps I've used can give origin problems from extreme scales.
Isn't a prob with SU it seems.
I'll do a little more work on the model and then put it back with jazzle if he wants it.
Thanks again
