Thumbs up new: cuplex xt di - double impact

Within approx. 14 days a new CPU cooler based on the cuplex xt will be deliverable.
Inside the cuplex xt di a completely new high performance principle will be used. The cooler was divided into two independent halves where the water flows through each half one after another. So two coolers have been practically united in one case.
Through this patent-protected principle the flow speed is virtually doubled and the water is accelerated two times in series towards the copper plate - which is also clarified by the epithet "double impact".

The Cuplex xt di is particularly suitable for Duo- and Quad processors as its cooling surface is far bigger than the one of the cuplex xt.

The price of the cooler will amount to 69.90 Euro. A little bit later we will also offer a .925 sterling silver variant.

Soon also a G1/4" version will appear. Compared to the G1/8" variant it will be different in some points.

Additional photos will follow.

As I said in the previous thread, looks even better than the original. I love the detail around the plexi cover

that is a gorgeous block. When I get my new system guts for goliath in a few months, I'll defintely put one of those on my list.

You need GPU cards with that sexy blue plexi man. Otherwise, I'll be forced to mod it!

So far it's a great adition to the Cuplex series.
The fact that there'll be a G1/4 version is more than welcome, especially considering the serious flow restriction this block will produce.
Have to take a better look at the internals, it seems the water from the 1st jet cups will reach the 2nd jet cups at a higher temperature (?)

I don't think there will be much of a temperature difference between the two, not enough to affect performance.

Slame, first the Aquatube and now this with G1/4 threads. Is this a change in direction for AC?? Personally I'm not too bothered about the restriction of G1/8 threads, but I definately welcome a standard size across the board by the different manufactures

Another awesome looking block from AC - I might even consider giving up my Cuplex Evo for one of those

Any idea when we'll get to see some test results on that one slame?

In reality your water temperature doesn't rise very much throughout the whole of your loop - I don't suppose a degree or so of temperature will make much difference

EDIT
Beaten to it by Dave

Hi,

no weŽll stay at G 1/8 and the block will make no big flow restrictions. AC seriously wants into the american market and if we offer them G1/8 .. well you know. So we sell them both in europe. America gets the G 1/4 only.

Cheers
