I'm at a bit of a dead end with my case. I've always intended to have some nice blue metallic flames on my paintjob, however, now that I'm at that point, I can't really fathom how to mask them out. I've already got the base coat laid down.

I realize that I need to mask the area out, that's pretty simple, but how can I get a good looking hot rod esque flame pattern mapped out on the case? I can't draw it by hand, so that's out of the question. I'd like to be able to print an image off on my computer that shows the outline I need to mask, but then I still need an effective method of getting it masked. What sort of tape should I use, so that it'll be thin, highly paint resistant, and easily laid down in curves?

How do the pros do this?
