Default Kestrel PAV (Personal Air Vehicle)

Ok, I know the US did it first but this is a UK-based company.
I caught it on Dragons' Den (or something like that) the other night.
Basically the guy was pitching to potential sponsors for a cash investment.
I think he asked for something like £70,000 in return for a 20% share or something.
When you consider they have a working prototype already and the list price is slated to be around £30K ITA (in the air ;) ), that's a very attractive prospect.

All five investors turned the guy down 'cos he wouldn't reveal details of the technology even though he had a patent filed for it.

Madness!
I'd have ripped his arm off given the chance (and a go in one first ).

Few details - it's completely made of CF and you get an hours flight from 2 litres of fuel (iirc).

Linky - Kestrel Aerospace

That's pretty hot. I'd be afraid to invest in it though, people are too sue-happy these days and that looks like it could have liability issues with stupid people.

All they need is a good legal bullshitter.

...NO WARRANTY.

Hehe, or as someone just pointed out to me offline - a pilot's licence requirement rather than a driving licence...
