Default Colour Match

Hi All
Very new to this forum chaps, I have been spray painting 2K for about 8 months now, started as a hobby at first but now I have given up my IT job and spray full time and really enjoy it.

I am currently painting a Triumph motorcycle in Racing Yellow, problem is that I am on my 13th coat and I am just about there with the colour match...why? what gives? the colour in the tin and in the gun pot looks 100% match but seems to go on very thin. (Mixed 50/50)

I have never has this issue before, my paint supplier is very good in letting me know if any colour is 2 state (i.e, base and top coat) the Racing yellow code FA (Standox) is a single coat and lacquer.

Would really appreciate some help
Many thanks in advance
