Can i piant over power coating?

I've just got a new case and it's power coated. I would like to paint the case black, but do i need to sand this down or can i just paint over it? also what paint would i need to use?

Treat it as any painted surface, sand first, primer, then paint. Enamel or Laquer paint is fine.

Are there different grades of powdercoating? My antec case's p.c. job looked horrid.

But i have had snow plows that have had red p.c. on them and they were smooth and durable, for a while anyhoo..
