As usual, you've done an excellent job bro! BTW, just a quick question... when you install your hard drives, won't it scratch the paint off the drive cage?

I think that's the point in powdercoat woflie, it's quite resilient (sp?)
Which brings me to my question about powdercoating - did you pay someone to do that for you?
Looks great btw, almost forgot to add that ;) Those are some dangerous blowholes :D

EDIT: I didn't miss the log, I even posted in it. I just didn't recognise the red case bits as belonging with the back case bits. Nice work! And I lurv that baybus. :)

Wolfie, we talk about Powdercoating in this thread Powdercoat Goodness (http://www.wizdforums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=36)
Its the best option for painting your chassis.
I've had all of my PCing work done by local outfit, Best Coat Inc.

quick question...
mnpctech, how much did you pay for the PCing? for example, on this particular case? more or less than a pro paint job?

This one cost me $100
I wouldn't put PCing and Pro Painting in the same catagory. Although PCing is more durable, you don't get an automotive style finish like you do w/ paint.

cheers.
I was just curious to know what sort of price it would be for a full case being coated.
I prefer my cases painted because you can be bit more creative with the finishing, but again this is something i dont think i would acually pay to have done. The paint work is part of the mod for me and i like to do all the work myself - feel like i kinda owe a lot more credit to someone else if i had painting done for me, just personal pref.
That excalibur looks amazing btw. fan mod you did is best i've seen so far!!
look foward to finished article
