Apparently (and I'm going to test this by fabricating a new reservior over christmas vacation) if you feed the 1250 from your reservior with a 5/8" ID tube, you'll get a massively higher flow rate from a 1/2" ID intake.

I'm in a pedantic mood today, sorry about this :)
Surely that should be "users" and not "owners"? Mine has been sitting on the shelf for months awaiting a new home :)

That's how I did it in BaDassII (though without a reservoir) and it seems to work great.
The fat lines are 5/8" I.D. (manifold>pump>radiator), the thinner lines are 3/8" I.D. (radiator>CPU's>manifold) and the air trap line is 3/8" I.D.

It just takes a little planning...

Don't those right angles in your manifold kill the flow rate a bit?
Hopefully, over christmas vacation I'll be converting my loop to a hybrid setup. Meaning 5/8 from the res to the pump, 1/2 from the pump to the rad and from the rad to the CPU block out to 4 x plug'n'cool to the 1.) video card, 2.) northbridge, 3.) silentstar, 4.) straight back to the reservior (maintains consistent tube ID). 4xplug'n'cool ID =~ to the 1/2" ID.
Of course, this all hinges on me getting my goodies from someone other than pug or SNT ('I'm buying used, thanks.)

Well ain't that a bag of worms... I can't even steal pictures from my own friggin' article...
Oh well.
Right angles in the manifold slowing down flow... probably. Although I doubt its near as much as the twists and turns created by the cooling blocks and the radiator. I used the manifold to keep things neat and clean, which it did. I've never give much credence to the "elbows will kill the flow" claims... just use a bigger pump.
I'll post up the "original" pics a little later... :h34r:
