i have seen them before and they are dead handy looking, i think that it would be usefull to have a test station like this and im thinking of doing some things like it in the future.

There was one made by Senfu (I think) a long time ago, and those always sold well. That one is made by an Innovatek distributor in the US. If you go to the makers webby, they also do customs.

I wanted one for a half assed project, but I ened up using an old removable mobo tray.

The problem with these things is that you take a look at them and they look handy, then you see the price. Once you've seen the price you start thinking how you could make one yourself for a fraction of the cost with a little shelf or similar from the local DIY shop and if you really wanted to get flash some scraps off an old case or some metal or plex and perhaps an antistatic matt if you want to get really fancy.

Does look good, but too expensive for what it is.

^_^ That's exactly whyI didn't go for one, too cost prohibitive. For that price I would rather buy a hard drive <_<

That's what a co-worker of mine his boss did. They had one of the "real" work benches and the guy that brought it left the company so the owner just went to lowes and made like 3 of them for the price of 1 of these.

If I worked on pc's more than I do right now, I'd consider building one myself.
