Broadband Abroad!

Hello All,

I have recently decided to purchase a new laptop for the first time in the U.K (because its cheaper here compared to N.Z) However, i am shortly to be moving abroad to New Zealand. I am hoping to purchase my broadband out there but was wondering if the type of laptop i own will effect whether i can get a certain type of broadband.. Arrgh..im a total computer novice so any help will be appriciated!

It will make absolutely no difference at all.

Broadband and network technologies are pretty generic, so that you can make use of any kind of computer hardware available.

As long a broadband in question isn't one of those "data cards" that you buy from the major cell vendors... you'll be fine.
