I have been trying to figure out how they made my power button on my antec soho bezel. The back of it doesnt have a clip thing that can be spread apart, so i concluded that the back side of the button must have been screwed on with the button and switch inside. I tried with some pliers to unscrew it, but if i am correct it is superglued on.
Anyone ever get one of these things apart before?

What model is it? SX10_0 or SX8_0 or SX6_0 all have clips that hold it onto the bezel, and then the switch sits inside the bezel itself. IIRC from when I painted my SX840 3 or 4 years ago.

Its the Antec performance series 2 soho filer server.
The botton does have a clip, but it isnt as far as i can see expandable. Even if it were the botton could not be removed. I think there must be a screw cap, but i cant get it loose.
The reset button came out with the clips, no problem. If i could get the power button out i might make my own outta plexi....

I suspect they changed the front fascia a bit between the old performance series and the new soho setup. I'm at a loss, other than to tell you to start dremmeling out the old and figure out how to fix it later... that is if you really want to do this.

I was going to replace both power and reset buttons, but i need to get this finished up, and there is nothing wrong with the switches, they are behind the bezel door, so its not going to make much difference.
If it was easy though, i would do it lol.
