Must tidy up a bit defore posting mine.
Love the speedster though. I know a guy with a replica one. Based on VW Beetle (which was modified to create origional 911). Would love to take it for a spin but unfortunately with the large origional steering wheel fitted I struggle to fit and on the way in I have to decide if I want to brake or clutch, as once Im in I cannot move my left foot.
Looked way cool though.

I'd die for a Speedster, but a 1975 911 Carrera RS (http://www.fuchs.co.uk/_base/gallery/pre0603/p11544.htm) would suffice too. Holy Hanna I want that car!
Yea, I've seen some pretty convincing VW Replicas. There used to be a company here called "Kalifornia Kit Kars" that sold a kit for $9K. Included everything right down to fake emblems. You supply the Beetle chassis and engine. Real dogs if you didn't soup up those meager 1.6s to at least 2.0
This 1968 VW Karmann Ghia (http://www.mnpctech.com/proGhiasideWB.jpg) w/ Porsche 912 rims/tires was more in my income bracket

I owned the GT6 for 2 years 1988-89. I bought it from the original owner for $5000. It had only 55K on the clock. beautiful condition. I did have to rebuild the carbs. Searching for a carb rebuild kit made me realize how scarce these cars had become. There was only one aftermarket parts supplier in the US and you paid dearly for it. I eventually got bored and sold it for a sharp BMW 320i that was nice for picking up gals. "What do you do for living Bill?!"
"I sell drugs and steal cars" I'd tell them...
I used to buy and sell cars like mad until I got married. I'd average 2 - 3 different cars per year at times. I just enjoyed autos so much I wanted to see what each one was like to own.. Oddly enuf, I settled with Volkswagens. I've currently got 3, but that could change

Took it out for its first reall spin today (rain stayed away for the first time since I got it and I refuse it drive it with the wet weather gear on)
I nearly caused a dozen seperate accidents. Everyone slows down for a look when they are passing you and forget about the guy in front :D .
I stopped twice and both times when I came back there were crowds around the car  Its getting embarrassing really......
On the bad news side.
Temperateure guage stopped working again. (its dead this time so new sender required)
The upper ball joint on the front left suspension is working loose. I had to run a die over the thread as I damaged it fitting cycle wings but repair dosent seem to be lasting so new ball joint required. (Once again I have to strip the front suspension.)
Ride height is too low. I kept bottoming out on hills so up she goes.
She is turning over very rough at idle when hot.

Left-to-right:

- 20.1" Dell 2001FP (finally got hold of it today after getting back from Uni) ... possibly the most beautiful thing I've seen :D). Connected to my machine.
- 19" CRT, connected on D-SUB to my machine. Watching Jurassic Park 2 on it at the moment

Very very good work on the cabling mate! I thought mine was quite neat but thats incredible.
Got a pic of the backside of the motherboard? :p
You dont wanna know what the back of the mobo tray looks like, believe me.
The wiring has actually been tidied up a bit more since then. I lined the various holes and slots with grommet strip to protect the cables and neaten a couple of dodgy cuts - these old chenming cases are made of VERY tough stuff that's a pain in the ass to cut. I did wonder at first whether I'd have drive cooling problems but it turned out fine. BTW that drive cage is bolted through the bottom of the case by some stove bolts epoxied into the cage.
It looks like crap at the moment. The mobo I have now is physically narrower so you can see the hole the IDE cables pass through. Haven't decided what, if anything, I'm going to do anything about that yet.

Its both. I have a canon powershot a95. It has an option for panoramic pictures taken in pieces. You take one, line up the next, etc. So all I did was move to a new spot each time. Then you put it together via a program called photostitch. Or in my case, I used photoshop and put it together manually.

Unfortunetly the dual monitors is only tempory :(
Normally my desk at home is full of junk so barely ever get's tidied. At work it's a lot worse. It's a much bigger desk but it's usually got a dozen A1 sheets on it, along with phone, keyboard etc. It get's pretty bad so I really have to keep on top of it.
Here is mine - its somewhat old, can't find the camera right now. Everything is off the walls, CD's are all nicly packed away, along with PS2 games and DVD's, and the scanner had an accident with a baseball bat 2 weeks ago^_^.
My room is pretty small(10ft by 11ft) and the desk is pretty big... so I got minimal room to move around with the chair, which is very cumfy and real leather!:p I wanna get a nice simple plaing looking Ikea desk so that I can set my eMachines on top untill I get to building on my WaveMaster.

I had that panelling in my room @ my parents house. We remodelled and filled the grooves and painted over it.
Well it wuld depend how it was atached and whats behind the wood. In my case my room is the only one left with that crap on. What my father does is rip the paneling off witch is nailed in place and fill the holes with a mixture of joint compund and plaster of paris. I have seen him reface an old wall with a thin layer of plaster kinda like how a body man would fill a car in and make it perfectly flat no matter how wodly it was in the begining and then he sands it smooth for a perfect finish before primer and paint. I do a bit of plastering too but mostly I fill in gaping holes for him to gover and make it perfect. Sometimes I wish my father would mod too. Hes got some awsome skills.

You'll have to excuse the lack of any photographic skill whatsoever, I really do suck at taking pics. Also the room is very bare at the moment as I am currently in the process of redecorating it (still got to reroute my CAT 5 hence the rather large ream under the desk, get my wardrobes up (after finding appropriate fittings for my plugs) and sort the walls out)

Ok - I finally got myself "moved into" my new room... meaning I unpacked everything and got rid of about half of everything that was packed ^_^
So it time for an updated pic... my good 'ol desk, minus the top half. The top was damaged while staying in storage. Some one stood it up, and put a heavy ass box on top of it causing it to horribly bow. But I like it this way, was gonna end up getting a new desk anyway, but have decided to keep this one, I like the wood. My x-dreamer is in pieces awating the final pieces of hardware so that I can get it up and running. Emachines case is in the lower right of the desk, new case will remain up top. You can see that I'm starting a collection of PC parts in that cubbie of the desk, and the drawer below it is full of supplies that I have yet come up with a use for, but that will change!
Surprisingly this room is MUCH bigger than my last. I thought it was gonna be smaller... and my dresser is tucked into my closet, so I needed something to house my TV(which needs upgradeing now  ) Got a small entertainment center for that an the speakers, along with all my DVD's(not all pictured) and PS2 games(in bottomw drawer). Up on top of it are a few of my favorite items that I still need to make shelves for.

Hi ScopEDog,
from left to right: the twe left screens are connected to the small silver case in the corner. Its actually my internet and TV pc. on the left Screen I watch TV and stuff and on the widescreen I chat, do my emails and surf the net. The pc is a PIV 3.2 Ghz with 1 Gig of ram and an Radeon 9800pro for the graka.
On the other side, in the right corner on the ground is my CM Stacker which I use as my main workstation, for doing 3d renderings and other graphical things. This is actually a little beast I have to admit. It has an AMD 4800+ dual core with 4 gigs of ram and 2 x a 7900GTX in SLI. A few raptors and western digitals to complete the picture.
The screens are Eizo's flexscan L557, and they are really great.
And then for backup and stuff I use the three 250gig lacie's in the little cabinet. (I know thats not the best solution, but hey they look so damnd good ^_^)
You may have noticed there is only one mouse and keyboard there, and thats because its all linked togheter with a little program called Synergy. It makes it possible to use the mouse and keyboard over all the screens without turning any buttons. It works like one giant desktop.
Hope this explains a bit what you wanted to know

I got a new desktop comming soon. Still debating as to wether or not I'll merge both desks into a single corner unit. Maybe I'll take pics of how it is now and how it could be and ask y'all to vote on it
I'm having a hard time deciding because with the desks (a pair of those brown powdercoated ones from my pic and a file cabinet) the way they are now, it's hard to turn my head to the right (limited neck movement to to a C spine fusion in 2002) to watch TV in bed: one desk is flat against a wall and the other is the same, but on the opposite side. I might even place both against the long wall and place the bed on the far left, against the wall. My other issue is where to place the hamster - he's in my closet now.

As I say, usually it's only 3 monitors, the two central 19"s and a 17" LCD hence why i'm using DVDs for speaker stands for the outside monitors.

I love my mx700. The only time ive had problems with range was when my batteries were running low. Im contemplating on upgrading to a mx revolution next. Ive been using logitech wireless mice for over 10 years now. Always loved them.
To each their own.
I will post new pics of my room in a fiew days as well.

Love your casing. They look so cool, I work at home and I am thinking of changing my casing to something not boring, working at home is kinda boring sometimes, like you have no one to talk to and you can't just surf anything that is not related to your task .. lol ... again your casing rocks........
