Not much to test here yet but please use this thread for testing multi-quote & stuff, so it doesn't clag up the other threads, ta. :-p

Hopefully there will be more to test than that over the coming weeks but you'll have to bear with me on that.

Most of the stuff that's new will be more noticeable to moderators and admin anyway but there are a few other new things like the quoted post shortcut that I'll demonstrate in the next post.

Go ahead, click it. Go on, you know you want to!
Nifty, huh? :wiz:

To use multi-quote, just click on the http://www.wizdforums.co.uk/images/buttons/multiquote_off.gif button on each post you wish to quote and then click reply (it should span across several pages too, so if you click it on one page, keep reading several more pages before clicking reply, it should still quote your selected posts).

I don't think it does nested quotes yet but I do have a plug-in that will give that functionality if there's demand for it and it's reliable enough.
Post any other new stuff you've found here too. :magic:

I tried the multiquote button in your other features thread but didn't bother posting it, and was gonna ask what's with the little arrows; I reckon they'll be damned userful.

Good work vBulletin guys :thumb:

Heh, you can use it if you need to... I was just trying to avoid abuse of it. You know what new toys are like. ;-)

One thing I haven't checked yet but did experience once on another forum was cross-thread multiquoting.
I'd clicked the multi-quote in one thread and changed my mind about replying, yet when I posted in another thread there was the quote.
Handy if it does do that but I don't recall if it was a vB forum or not.
Will have to try it later.

One other thing that's new is the ability to upload images for signatures, rather than remote-linking them.
I'm still tuning these options but have allowed [img] tags in signatures until the transition period is complete.

I will be turning off images for signatures in the long run, so if you have one and wish to keep it, I suggest you try out the new upload feature in the Signature section of your UserCP.

This will be a per-usergroup setting, so normal users will be the first to have this enforced, followed by those with access to the trading section (>50 posts), then custom avatar holders.
Donors and VIP members will remain unrestricted for the foreseeable future but do have access to the feature if they prefer to use it.

For the sake of less work on my part, signature size limits have now been set to 500 x 100, rather than the previous 600 x 75, as that's what the defaults are set to and I'd have to amend it for about ten different sections otherwise. :inno:

Should now be easy to show your thanks for any useful info given to you on these boards. :magic:
Still configuring it at the moment. I want to move the button to the left rather than the right, so apologies if it messes the layout while I'm adjusting it.

Couple of additions to the What's Going On section on the forum index too, for any stats-junkies out there. :thumb:

[edit] Also re-enabled WYSIWYG editor for Quick-Reply and added it to Quick-Edit too.

Heh. If you liked that, you're going to love it if/when I implement per-user custom smilies too. :naughty:
