im not sure about vBulletin but phpbb3 has the ability to create custom bbcodes so i made one for each of the three major types of video
You Tube
Google Video
DivX(yes any hosted DivX or Xvid file can be included in the post)

zer0 - thanks but there are a few exploits and vulnerabilities associated with flash/.swf cross-site scripting, so it'll probably just be YouTube/Google for now.
Most of the common stuff ends up there, anyhow.

Well, I may add google for Google search at a later date (together with a wikipedia one), and googlevideo is a bit long to type repeatedly, if you ask me. :shrug:
I did think of using gv but hey, it's hardly that confusing, surely? :huh:
Actually, I may still add yt & gv, like we have both ot & offtopic...
