Star its catching mate.
I am now offically engaged. No date and in no rush but are looking for a house.
White wedding and big church deal have been ruked out on both sides (much to the dismay of both families) so its looking like a weding in the sun. I am thinking Thailand, beach, sun and budist monk followed by a big party when we get home. Better half is thinking perhaps Vegas so lots of time to decide.
A traditional wedding here runs at 25 to 30K (of which you normall get 75%back in cash gifts) its money we would both preffer to put into a house.
So my advice to all single guys.. run NOW.
