Well, I have my new rig now. I set it up and it ran fine for about a week. I shut it off to watch TV, came back, turned on, no video output and the smell of burning silicon once again, just like in my last rig. I even had a few people look at it and say it was the processor, so I RMA'd it to Newegg, and they just sent me a new one. I put it in, nothing...the fans spin, the lights turn on, just no video output...Now my next thing is either power supply, Motherboard, or video card. I really don't know why it is doing this it ran fine then stopped. Doesn't make sense.

Anyone have any clue what it could be?

Also, this board does not beep for anything even with the little siren plugged in.

Specs are in my sig, and any advice or ideas please post right away.

Have you tried resetting the CMOS jumpers?
My AN8 Ultra had a bit of a fit like that once, and a reset of the BIOS brought it all back.

MOD hat on: Please don't bump your own threads; everything gets read around here and sooner or later someone will post a reply :thumb:

Sorry. Well I pulled the battery out several times, resetting them, and all. Nothing. That worked the last few times I got no video output on this.

OK. Is it worth shipping it back and getting another of the same type, or trying to get a DFI LanParty board.
