It's here. (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/bonecho-beta1-candidates/rc1/firefox-2.0b1.en-US.win32.installer.exe)

I actually like it. It has a restore session feature! I love it!:D

Only downside is the tabbed browsing. If you don't like having to click on the tab to close it you can change that by typing "about:config" in your url bar. Create an integer and name it "browser.tabs.closeButtons" and put the value at 3.

If you do accidently close a tab you can right click on another and click undo close tab.

Now where's that dictionary.Try mis-spelling something, then if it doesn't underline it with red dots a la M$ Word, it's on the right-click menu.

I meant to go to google and do an image search on something but without even thinking about it I put Dell 1800FP in the url and hit enter. It took me a site that had a picture of it, so I'm thinking okay.....so I typed google and hit enter and it takes me right to google! I typed in wizdforums and hit enter and took me here.

This was in the beta. Too cool!

Firefox 1.* did that mate. :thumb:

I've found one or two bugs with it so far.

It isn't supported by Natwest online banking atm - understandable I guess, and when left open for several hours it seems to crash for no apparent reason. That makes the 'session recovery' feature all the more fun though for now.

The other bug I encountered was while filling out a standard web form (like an HTML registration form) and TAB and backspace just wouldn't work. Never seen that before in all the years I've been using the web so for now I'm blaming Firefox or at least the way it rendered the form and any associated javascript. Weird.

another bug FF2 has is that it slows down sometimes for no aparent reason.

But it goes away if you restart it.

Honestly this is too good to be beta.

Here's a handy hint if you inadvertently add a misspelled word to your Firefox dictionary; :inno:

1. Winkey + R for your Run dialogue box and enter %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

2. Open your profile folder; named whatever.default

3. Hopefully you'll find the persdict.dat file in there - open it with notepad/wordpad and delete the offending word.
