Hi,

If this isn't allowed sorry and please delete it.

Ok want to order a few things from this site - http://www.frozencpu.com

Just wondering if there any good? Ie reliable, state of the goods when delivered, if there are problems what is there customer service like etc.

Thanks

I've heard mixed reviews from them. They do in-house modding which I've heard is kind of shotty and their prices are a bit high. I've never ordered from them myself.

What are you ordering? There's probably a better retailer your side of the pond.

i've ordered from them a few times. never pre-modded stuff though. just check around prices with them and svc and voyeurmods and performance pcs and such. they're usually a bit pricey (and shipping can be kinda expensive for small items), but sometimes they have good deals. and they carry a whole bunch of stuff.

Hi thanks for the replys.

I am gonna purchase a Jing Ting Chipset cooler from there as there not sold here in the uk. And I only picked this place as I can phone up and use my Credit card where as the other place i found the cooler - Performance-pcs.com, don't accept credit cards.

A. Any holes cut are left with jagged edges. Give or tell your employers to use hand files.

B. Cables for optional installation of light kits, bay devices, controllers, and additional fans are left untidy or hanging.

C. Fans installed backwards. (Should be positioned as exhaust, but installed as intake)

D. Acoustical foam applied unevenly or in areas that will bears no effect.

E. More recently, a 5.25 rheostat fan controller was installed in top of case. They either pushed real hard while drilling the 1/2" toggle switch holes, (or used worn bit) that they actually bent the top panel (steel!)... I didn't even know until I had removed the controller.

Those are examples I've seen in person over the last 5 years when customers have sent cases from frozen to Mnpctech for other types of work.

Myself and many people I know have ordered parts from them. I would say you can trust them in the sense that they are not going to screw you if you order parts. As for their custom work, I have never seen it, but I think Bill has said enough on that topic.

I ordered stuff from them maybe 2 or 3 years ago, and shipping was very quick. They did bollocks up the order and sent me BLUE female molex plugs for the PSU mod I was doing and BLACK heatshrink when I requested it the other way around. I called them about it and they just sent out another order, and didn't require me to return the other stuff. Their prices aren't that good, but their selection isn't too bad. And the shipping is quick because they're in NY state and I'm in PA (right next to each other.)
