Hi all i would like some advice on a pump to put in my loop.
My loop (on completion) will include:
AirPlex Evo 240 Radiator
NexXxoS HP Pro CPU Block (For AMD)
Twinplex Northbrdge Block (For AMD)
CoolCurrent 450 Watt PSU
Aqua Tube Reserviour.
Now then in the case i would like one of these:

Will this determine which pump i have got to have? Also i suppose the ammount of things in the loop will also count for this.
Cheers

well, it's the aquastream control panel so you'll have to buy the aquastream. :)
your loop shouldn't be a problem for an aquastream. i've seen bigger loops running with it.

Spot on but about it having to be the aquastream but if it was me I would preffer to use a larger pump. 1048.

with the aquaero you can overclock it. ac will also release a usb interface which allows you to overclock it without an aquaero. afaik you also can set a jumper on the back and it will have more power, but haven't tried it yet.

Hmm what about ditching that control pannel and getting a lcd like this

and then getting a pump like this

I prefer the Aquastream just because it's easier to use, you can't forget to turn it on.
You don't need a higher powered pump. IIRC Pug uses a 1046 in Hexadragon and said the difference between the two was very small except the 1048 is slighty louder.

Doesn't exactly work like that. If you want to control a pump with the Aquaero it needs to be an Aquastream. They connect and work with each other.

Does the aquastream control panel fit into a cd-rom drive bay or a floppy drive bay?

The Aquastream panel fits in a floppy (3.5") bay. The AquaAero fits in a CD-Rom (5.25") bay. Both look sexy as hell!

The Aquastream does look very nice in the front of my case. I only wish I could afford an Aquaero to go along with it. They are very cool.

I talked to AC today and they will send me a VFD version of the Aquaero. I'll open a new thread for your questions etc if you're interested.
