I love beer. All kinds and any kind (well just say no to coors and BudW). I love to drink beer, and I drink around 2-3 cases a week. Of course, it's non alchy beer (can't drink on morphine), For that, O'Douls, made by BudW isn't so bad. Every once in a while, a local brewery will make a homebrewed non alchy flavor (they seem to esp if asked to, but it's always a very limited thing :(). Before I was a physical wreck I used to love sipping BEER!!!!!!

Rant Over!

I just saw a whole string of Guinness comercials watchign ESPN 2, "Americas Soccer Channel". I think I'm hyper too, it's 4 AM and I just woke up an hour ago, whee!
My dog doesn't want to listen anymore, she wants to sleep. Boooo! Wake up!!!!!! It's fun here, and I'm sipping my fake beer, so tell me... What's your beer?

See Beer is different over here. Our Budwiser is brewed by Guiness so it HAS to be good.....

Personally I like a Samual Adams.. or to be different a Tiger is nice every now and again.

But Im afraid my drinking days are behind me  hangovers just get worse and worse.

So now I drink whiskey.

Ah uncle Jimmy (Jameson to you hethens):D

I'm a soft shandy drinking southerner ( <_< ) so I like me lagers rather than that dodgy creamy shite they seem to like up north (as well old man hand-pull bitters and the like).

Anything will do tbh

Bud (on tap! w00t!), Coors, Stella, Kronenbourg, Grolsch, XXXX.. Staropramen has become a top newcomer. Bottles of that funny mehican stuff with a lime jammed in the top (cerveza?) goes down nice too.

The plow/bigz beer fridge is currently full of... Stella (with a few left over Grolsch).

Molson XXX (get the canadian version, I swear its different)

Yuengling Lager (a pennsylvania speciality)

Newcastle anything

Franziskeiner Heffe-Weitzen (I know I masacred the spelling)

"Blithering Idiot" (Local brewery, 18% alcohol, hence the name - great for football games!)

Sierra Nevada

Saranac Amber Lager (mmmmm.... fruity afterbite)

<3 BEER!

Anything that is larger will do me.

Guiness is shite it tastes like tar.

Smooth Poor is vile it tastes like cream. And you have to wait half the day for the head to settle before you get any beer.

Larger all the way

Larger? Larger Lager is better than smaller (22oz vs 16oz)

I almost forgot boddingtons! that stuff is great. no bar around here carries it, but there is a place a few minutes from my parents (The Pub, yes, that's the name) that has it and a few other tasty nitro-pours.

Budvar (the original, not that mamby-pamby watered down Budweiser stuff :p ). Else Stella Artois... reassuringly expensive.

Rolling Rock is good too. Although it doesn't roll and has no rocks in it. :D

Sierra Nevada... I'm a simple guy that repeats what he likes when he finds it, rather than looking for something new...

Sierra Nevada.

:D

Ok ok... Guiness is pretty good, kilkenny is not bad either (whenever i find it). If your just hanging out at a bbq, sam adams, corona, or dos equis. I mostly just drink ciders or black and tans at bars....or long island iced teas at a club.

Franziskeiner Heffe-Weitzen (I know I masacred the spelling)

It is called Franziskaner Hefe-Weizen. ^_^ I don't drink so much beer, but Weizen is my favorite.

That was the one beer my dad loved that wasn't a pale. That stuff, along with Wexlers Cream Ale are great. Another beer I love are the ones made by Flying Dog Beer (http://www.flyingdogales.com/01_about_us/about_home.html)
Moosehead is good, so is Molson (I've only had the Cadadian one).

Bass Ale, Killians Irish Red, or Moosehead whenever I'm out for a nice dinner. MGD @ home cause Mrs likes it.

O'Douls is nice while youre doing weekend yardwork or projects.

Agree, Flying Dog is good stuff. Great label designs B)

I had friend from UK that would drink Guiness mixed w/ RC Cola  I tried it once and it wasn't that bad.

I've never liked Summit..

Tonight I bought 2 ales from Wychwood Brewery; Fiddlers Elbow and Scarecrow. I've never seen them before and decided to skip taking morphine to try them out tomorrow, along with all the food we're going to make (we spent $202 at the store <_< ). I was going to grab the Hobgoblin ale, but I opted for a single can of Boddingtons instead. ^_^

I'm surprised - I thought the UK/scotland/ireland areas were rich in brewness.

Dying breed i'm afraid, muscled out by multi-national corps' selling their mass produced fizzy drinks. A lor of the smaller independant breweries went down the pan long ago.
I find the best you can hope for is a local brewer who sells to local independant pubs in small quantities

You do see more independant bottled beer from new smaller breweries. One was on TV last night and he was from an old brewery family and set up with quality kit cast off by the big brewers when they bough up old firms like his.

But in central london I can old think of three Brewpubs and they might have three regular beers and a special. Nothing like you guys get

Hell when I've been in colorado there was a selection of five to eight microbrews on tap in nearly every bar!

Olly

yeah, even a 'good' real-ale pub might only have three or four beers on hand-pump :(

Should you ever visit, I'll have to take you to "The Crippled Bear" where they have 48 taps
