Firefox ?

Is anyone else having problems with Firefox, it is taking 4 or5 attempts for me to load a page and will not do anything untill it has timed out a couple of times, then at the next attempt it opens, google appears and it works without fault from there on.
This is only happening from when the PC is first turned on, after that I can close firefox, re-open it later and it works perfectly.

BTW IE and Opera work fine.

Yeah its been doing it with me over the last week but i thought it was just my wireless connection playing up. Using 1.5.0.4.

yeah i have that problem too! but only when after my PC goes idle! but it's no biggie for me xD

Firefox has been faffing me around for weeks now.
I get an odd problem whereby sometimes if I'm typing a reply, hitting ' or / will act as if I've pressed F3, so half of what I type will end up in the 'Find' search box (also, using Alt codes for special characters will navigate me back a few pages, as Fibbs mentioned happening to him a little while back).
I haven't worked out whether that's Firefox or an AJAX bug yet though...

I do get those timeout issues too though.

i have firefox and it works fine, plus u guys probably have cable so its better for u, i have dial up, and im running firefox easily, im pipelining it to load pages faster which is pretty nice, but the only problem i get, and i think its cause i have slow internet, is that when its loading forums in guru3d or im searching items in newegg, it laggs for about 5 seconds and comes up saying theres a bad script and weather or not i stop it or not...but thats about it...

try reinstalling? thats all i have to say or run firefox in safe mode, lol
