Thanks for the heads-up. I posted a "little" mod just for fun.

It's been quite awhile since entering my last "modding" contest...

I caught your entry Dutch..nice. You have access to CNC and or Laser?

Since it can be any mod, I might as well submit the carbon fiber mouse I did a while back. That was l33t. (ehehehe)

OT: Star, did you get my email about your paint code?

Yes I did, and I haven't had any luck finding the paint code in PPG. Their site sucks, no online reference stuff like Sherwin. Out of curiosity, how come he uses PPG? Probably a true automotive guy who likes the UV resistance and longevity of PPG.

Yea, its good stuff the only paint my friend @ Red Rooster Automotive sells.

Whats the year and name of factory color again? It was a 2 stage correct?

Nice job on that Nexus controller. B)

I had to pull my entry because I used too many pictures... Dang Dutch Dirty Dealers.

I have a few friends with machine shops. B) One in particular is a die-maker and he also makes custom target rifles. His shop has half a dozen CNC machining centers and oodles of other trick schtuff. Whenever he's slow in the shop he lets me "cut-up" things. I do design work for him now and again... it's a nice distraction from designing houses. :)

Dutch, I think you and your friend would really get along with my friend, Jim Hanson who owns http://www.coolcases.com Hes a real gun nut :) I gotta hunch you guys around the same age. The love of vintage cars was a big tipoff ;)

btw: the Vantec has further morphed into this (http://prudhoe.codeword.com/mnpctech/tantrum/August/moldedbezelWb2.jpg)
