ive sorted out my booting problems, and i can now get to windows, on my old 6800gt.

Full system spec please, incl PSU as OCB asked.

Is the hardware all new?

Was it previously setup with a different card?

Do the 7900Gt's require a 12v pwr lead running to them and was this on the same line as other stuff in your system?

well guys,

ive sorted the booting. i had to unplug the harddrives/cd rom, and then restart it 3 times, then turn it off an plug it back in (too me an hour to get that)

old 6800gt works fine, im on it now.

but the new 7900gt is phuked. seriously screwed, ive put it back in its box reayd to go. lol. i got a LAN on saturday, so hopefully i can get it back for then! if not :bat: someone might just get killed.

im taking this lightly. not sure why, its not bothering me that much.

and the spec is in my sig, aprt from the PSU which is a antec true power 480w
