TransTFT

15" TFT panel transformed to something more aesthetic.
"I bought an old 15" TFT display from my friend because the display of my
laptop didn't offer me enough workspace. This monitor just happened to be too
ugly to be tolerated for long. I never had the guts to modify my laptop, so
this new screen of mine offered a great opportunity to refresh my building
skills."

Man, use some chrome screw or polish the parts he painted black instead and that would go great with ScopeDog's fileserver.

That LCD would look sweeet by a Black Smoked Plexi Case :toast:

Hell, that would look sweet by MY case (http://www.personal.psu.edu/staff/m/s/mss26/ars/goliath/44/010.jpg).

Damn, now I'm half inclined to get a largish, good performance LCD... 2405FP dell perhaps, and perform this mod (F-U warranty!)

The monitor mod is nice, but I would have made a better stand or mounted it to the wall... the clear plexi is a nice touch on the front, but all the dust that would collect behind it would suck.

Star - where you get that fan controller/which make is it? sexy!

its a sweet mod, but too minimalistic for my tastes.
