I did a small window mod to my psu and decided to add a layer of mesh behind the window. I'm having a problem figuring out what to put between the mesh and the circuit board of the PSU. The board and the mesh are right next to each other and the thin plastic layer that comes with the PSU (see pic) doesn't cover the whole layer of mesh.

The plastic sheet has to be extremely thin. I was thinking about cutting up an antistatic bag but was a little worried about heat melting the bag.
Any ideas?

wait, so the existing plastic won't cover the entire ciruit board? All that really matters is that it does cover the board, covering the entire mesh shouldn't be of issue if i'm getting you right.

I wouldnt use an antistatic bag. They conduct, and also melt quite easily as you mentioned.
What about a sheet of acetate. Like lecturers use on Over head projectors.

^ that could work.
I knew there was something that would work, i just couldn't place my finger on it.

Thanks for the quick response. wait, so the existing plastic won't cover the entire ciruit board? All that really matters is that it does cover the board, covering the entire mesh shouldn't be of issue if i'm getting you right.
You're right, it's only an issue because the thin plastic is opaque and creates this visible line going right across my window. The acetate idea is great!
