I've never done powder coating before, and i dont know if this is anything similair to what the professionals use but i thought id post it up and see what you've all got to say about it..

its fairly similar. Powder coating is a lot like painting a car, you spray on the powder(in this case held on by electric charge) then you cure it.

That kit would be fine for some light duty home powder coating. Might check on some reviews to double check the quality though.

Note that you still have to bake the assembly "normally 20 min's cycle".

Of course that also means that you have to:
-have an oven big enough
-are able to transport the unit into the oven, without maring the powder

Otherwise it looks like a fine kit; I'd buy one, if not just to try it out.
