1/4" barbs with 6mm tubing

Would it be possible for me to use a combination of 1/4" fittings and 6mm tubes? I want to use the Huge quad 120 rad from voyeurmods (I know its overkill for anything) but it only come with barbs prefitted and i dont want to use an adapter. Thanks.

Are you sure the barbs are fixed? Maybe you can just replace them with plug and cools or something similar.

Do they offer the core with 1/4" barbs? They do on their other cores, so maybe you can ask them to put 1/4" ones on for you. 1/4" barbs will work with most 6mm ID or 8m ID hoses with clamps - that's how I'm attaching my 8/10 hose to my heatercore.

Thanks guys. I did a conversion and 1/4" is like 6.5mm, so it wont be a huge stretch.
