Wireless music using lasers...

ok this is simple i was looking around a forum about hacking or modding random things. and i happened to stumble upon an artical about sending music across a room using a [dr evil mode] "LASER" [/dr evil mode]. the artical listed a short list of things witch are very easly obtaned including a [dr evil mode] "LASER" [/dr evil mode] pointer an audio autput transformer and a solor cell (of corse a headphone jack to connect the music source to the sender and another for the recever and the amp)
i know all the parts i need and i can get them all at radio shack. so my goal now is to make one and find a use for it. (keep in mind 1 laser can only send mono audio i would need 2 of everything in order to send sereo audio.)

I'd guess you would also need to power the speakers somehow.

yeah i think ill have to find a small amp or something that this can go in to and then the headphones or the speekers plug in to that.
