Avatars....

Ummmm, is there now some kind of restriction on the avatars? i've only noticed mods' with 'em and there dont appear to be any specific forum rules about them apart from the size of the image (which i've adhered too). The image apperas in my user CP but it says that my Avatar isn't selected? do i need to hit so many posts or can us 'ordinary' folk no longer have them?? :unsure:

yeah like i said, only mod's can have avatars right now, adwhitworth and pug are setting up a selection of pre defined piccies to use by the sounds of it.

Custom avatars for users with a certain number of posts, like 50 or something woud be cool!!! :)

I'm hoping we could sort out custom avs for long-term or high postcount posters and also have a standard pool of the pre-set ones, as mentioned for medium post count post posters or something (low post count = no av).
Not finalised yet but if any of the original av users from the old forum want theirs back, just let me know & I'll sort it (if we don't sort it sooner anyway).
I was hoping to have time to get on & give people back their titles too but haven't had a chance yet... (sorry).

If ur in the process of sorting it i wont bother you by getting u to put my old piccy back up - not really worth the effort on your part so i'll just be patient ^_^

Sorting generic avs will take a while longer, as will changing the permissions accordingly for you to upload one ('cos I don't know how to do that yet... :o )

Actually I think its cool to give wise men their dues. I have just as many old guy friends as friends my own age, but Choppers and Hot Babe theme avatars take 1st priority ^_^
