I'm not sure about you guys but I've never found quite the right keyboard.

One that fits all.

Well check these (http://www.ergodex.com/mainpage.htm) out. you can position the keys wherever you like, and assign whatever letter, command, macro you choose. Whether the search has ended reamians to be seen, but they certainly look interesting.

well IMO i dont think i could get used to that special one if the keys were put in a different pattern or setup, and to be honost the best keyboard i have ever used is a small $7 (USD) black keyboard with the basic keys. I have used a lot of different units over the years and finally got this one for free actually in a Case/Mobo combo i bought at Freazy E's (Fry's electronics) as the guys at penny-arcade.com like to call it. Anywho i think its perfect, the keys are nice and springy and give you the nice clicky sound for plenty of clicking and clackin when you are on AIM having speed chats trying to keep up with like 7 windows or when trying to quickly type a message in Battlefield 2 when flying the blackhawk ^_^ . so yea I will keep my El cheapo keyboard for as long as i can...hehe i also bought a second one for backup when this one finally goes past its expiration date. :)

Thats cool and freaky. I don't think I would like it though, and would it actually be possible to type at all quickly on it

I was just looking at it.. it doesnt seem to want to replace a standard keyboard for typing, only for gaming and any office work that could benifit from macros... i might pick one up to use in games...
