I'm sure to be fairly wrong on this, but I'd dare say around $600 to $800.

well to be fair dell would sell that system for roughly a grand.

but i think you would be on good ground if you sell it for about that Starbuck is saying.

I think a good way to price it is individual value. Also remeber that 30-40% is customary from retail. So here is my take on it.

Lian-li pc65 -70bux at most
p4 2.4c- max 100bux
1GB xms pc4000pro-max 150bux
asus p4c-800e- max 80bux
9800 pro-max 130bux
audigy oem card- max 40bux
enermax 430 watt psu- 60bux max

Total~630 at best. Real world scenario is about 500bux for it.

Correct me if im wrong.

What condition are the parts in?

For new parts, here's the rundown (prices obtained from Pricewatch):

Lian Li PC65: $118
Intel P4 2.4: $140
Memory (basic 4000): $134
Motherboard (not new acc to the link): $106
Video Card: $125
SB Audigy: $38
Power Supply: $85

So for a best case scenario, I'd say no more than $746, so Star's estimate is dead on :thumb:

but the stuffs secondhand and used....and its a friend, so everything should be rounded down...
I'd say $$400-500$$
but I guess it depends on how much a "friend" he/she is

its my girlfriend:h34r::D

I wish i could give it to her but im poor. i figured it was worth about 500. But i dont think she can afford 500 she said 400.

So i told her she definetly doesnt need a 9800pro on a comp that wont see a single computer game. So i have a 4200t1 64mb that i can put in it for free and ill sell the 9800 pro to someone else.

She understands i need the money and i know she needs a computer pretty bad. :duh:

 I guess it depends how serious you guys are then -

This is the sort of thing that they can store for arguments in years to come...

"...and remember that bloody PC that you made me pay you for!"

Also, what happens if (God forbid) you split up and it breaks down?

me/ thinks about it some more... [shudder!]
