That looks mental!
I love those dakar pickups, there is obviously more than a little influence there.

I think the bowler is the official land rover entry into the Paris Dakar rally. When they featured it on top gear they said it was raised 40 feet into the air by a crane then dropped onto its nose and it didnt even dent it.
The things faster than an aston martin too.

If you havent seen the original video then its amazing! The car is so damn cool its unbelievable. On UK People last night they showed the episode where they raced the Bowler down a hill against the world off road land boarding champion which got me thinking of the first video.
Skate boarding video is here (www.teamdakarsport.com/media/html/skateboard.htm)
The original video is linked to here (www.teamdakarsport.com/media/html/topgear_bbc_bowler_wildcat_at_planet.htm) but it doesnt seem to work. :(
All videos and extras were found here (www.teamdakarsport.com/pivot/entry.php?id=32&t=home_static.html)

Now that looks sweet. I love the cage on it. The looks are not as mean as I like though. A real humvee is what I would get if I were ritch. Something about a military spec humvee that has my heart I guess.

hmmm ... not you DRB. I have changed it for you, but it looks liek the linking tags are putting the "http://" in before the link on your behalf! I noticed it yesterday but didnt have a chance to fix them for you. 'Kin odd.
Fixed now, Ill let the others know about this problem and get it fixed. Could become confusing!
