Cell power!

Was reading about the cell processor technology used in the ps3 and the potential it has to overtake the pc market.

I have to admit i dont understand much of it but its a cool read i thought.

Yeah i had a read when the patents where filed a few months back. Apparently sony are claiming that its programmed using C++ so the fears of the PS3 being immensely powerful yet extremly difficult to programme for are unfounded.

Also the idea of buying a new TV to upgrade your computer sounds good to me! :lol:

i think what hes saying is most programers know C++ (to some extent) so they dont have to learn an all new language.
