Heres a quick peek at one of ATI's upcoming motherboards.. supporting, you got it, onboard graphics (now with a dvi connector, look for yourself!), as well as ddr, pci x 16, socket 939, sata 2, and many other great features..
If youll look closely, youll see some neat things..
1. Dangerden custom ATI waterblocks
2. Three (yes three) slots for inserting Flash roms (bioses.. oo, maybe this could have potential for making homemade/modded bioses)
3. Led post error indicator.. long time on epox / abit, now other manufacturers are taking a hint..
4. wow. did you not notice yet, its WHITE.
5. Mosfet waterblock!? Yummy!
6. Look at those big caps? guess they're serious about clean current.
See how many new and useful changes you can find!

Sorry silverstrand your a little to late, as Mr. Scrooge said:lol:
I heard it was gonna be under $500 but that is way to expensive for my tastes. I will wait for them to change the board color and also lower the price a few hundred dollars.

My brand new Soltek board has a black PCB and purple slots ^_^ Imagine how shocked I was when i realized the nForce 4 I was considering was blue!

Black is the only way to go for PCB's, dark blue is acceptable too.

That is the best color, it blends in with the rest of your gear on the inside.

I'd only recently got over the nausea from seeing that board the first time!
Gotta be black, although the missus says purple would be nice.

Still plenty to discuss... :D
What are those two little "slots" next to the PCI slots?
I don't mind white, I think it's original.
The springs need a sleeve, definitely.
Nice to see water cooled MOSFETs; it's about time!!!
I had no idea ATI made motherboards.

Personally i would rather have black as well. But if it performs better than anything out there then i could easily live with white.

Those are PCI Express 1x slots.
If you say so :)
The Germans have been cooling (and offering cooling) for these for a very long time. It's just that no one else has been interested as much.
These ATI boards are supposed to perform pretty good too.

This was their first mobo, I can see them coming out with a line of them over the next couple of months.

Hehe, funnily enough, my first impressions of the first pic were that it had been vomited onto the floor, rather than placed there.
