22nd Annual Deutsche Marque Concours d'Elegance

Hey everyone, this was a local car show put on by the BMW, Porsche and Mercedes Benz Clubs in the area. The show was actually cancelled the day of due to rain the night before. Apparently the grounds were closed for all activities, including car shows, but as it turned out when I got over there a bunch of guys were still showin' off their cars, I took a ton of pictures and I thought I'd share a few of them with you guys.

I loved this red turbo, it was just an awesome car. There were actually two of them, one with gold BBS wheels but I just loved the wheels matching the body color.

There were a ton of classic BMWs, a lot of older M3s, got a shot of the grill of this one, there were also three or so of the rarer 8 series

MMMmm Good.

As I was about to leave, this one showed up and I just had to stay, this guy picked it up in Europe and spent a time just driving around with his wife. He was bragging about this one trip from Paris to Frankfurt in 5 hrs. (including eating and gassing) he said he averaged 140 the whole way, whether its true or not its a rare friggin' car,

Oh last but not least there was this couple tryin' to get rid of their 914. Last I heard was they got someone who was gonna fix 'er up and getting her back on the track!

man - ya gotta love them whale tails! One of my fav Porsche is a Turbo 994... I love that body style.:wub:

Aye... older Porsches are always fun to check out.

One of my latest wish list entrant is a Beck 550 Spyder... saw one the other day and it was all that and then some... simple, low, hot rodded V-dub engine in the middle... just an awesome, wind in the face, Summer driver. B)

Oh wow, that's a rare find. I've been liking 356s more and more. For some odd reason there's this white convertible for sale at a gas station around here, love it everytime I go by.
