Was originally planning to mount my fan controller into a chieftec bezel but it seems i'm unable to as there's no way to support the controller  If i was to prepare and paint the aluminium bezel would the finish be any different to that of the plastic chieftec bezels?
Thanks again ^_^

Nope but you'll need to put down some sort of self-ecthing primer first to get good adhesion to the aluminium, then aslong as you apply equal amounts of paint to the metal as you did plastic all should be good.

Oh, btw, does it have that lian li type finish to it? Be'coz if so you'll need to sand it down well first.

It's the same finish as your Vantec Nexus, quite hard to describe really

(BTW you still want it?)
It seems to have some sort of anodised coating, so you'll want to sand down through it to just the metal. It doubt it'll be very thick, and shouldn't take more than a few mins on an electric sander with coarse paper.

Use the incldued removable optical drive rails. You may have to drill couple mounting holes to attach the fan controller. I went through this with HD-100 project few weeks ago.

My nexus was on a lian li style panel but it was painted silver.
