I was looking at a Car audio magazine that had a flame job on a PT-Cruiser that to this day has me convinced it is the best paint job ever... EVER. Ill see if I can find it and post a pic! The dude did a classic black with flames, pretty normal right? No... the fire looked real to the point I had to glance 5-6 times just to relize the damn car wasnt trully on fire!

Wow that chopper is pretty awesome Bill, did you have a link to any info on that?
Vedder - nice find. I love the styling and the mesh is a natural complement. It's given me an idea for another long-term project already. :)
For my paint inspirations, I've always hankered after the works of Boris Vallejo and Luis Royo - I don't have my links collection on this machine but Google shoul prove fairly fruitful if you're not familiar with their work.
This is the design I've got in mind for a mural on my case eventually but I'm tempted to drop him a line and ask permission first.

That is pretty cool m8. I saw pics of vans years backs with murals of choppers and hot rods in a similar style but that is definitely one of the most realistic ones I've seen. B)

mnpctech, I think that yellow box needs to be posted on the Monster Garage gallery. Two things come to mind when I look at it... Jesse James and Moon Equipment.

Thnx@Dutchcedar... I didn't know that one existed  sounds like a plan
I built that case for a Jesse James fanatic. I was glad I could capture Jesse's style. more pics (http://prudhoe.codeword.com/mnpctech/Venom/Vweb/pimprig.jpg)
btw: Jesse, needs to stick w/ shirts and jeans.... Suits & ties are not your style  exhibit A (http://dsc.discovery.com/fansites/monstergarage/wallpaper/gallery/monsters3_800.jpg)

hi, im doing some modding , and i need to buy a compressor but i dont know wich one, i want to paint with an airbrush and a spray gun, i don know if i gotta go with a portable 2 gallon 100 psi or a medium one 7 gallon 135 psi. Please helpp me
I'm going from memory here (used to have use of big workshop compressors back in the day) but as I recall from hiring a small one to work at home one week spraying a camper van, the smaller one should suit all your spraying needs.
The only time I hit probs with it was when I tried to use a DA sander off it.
Tbh, for airbrush work, you can get an adaptor to run it off an inflated car tyre for short periods.... ^_^
