Mmm, I've seen bikes based on 1500cc MG engines, 3500cc V8s and 4200 V12s but a Viper engine?
Man those things are handful enough on four wheels!

OK, since you had to go and start a thread about bikes, check out this beast!!
I'm a beast... hear me roaaaaar!! (http://motorcyclecity.com/turbine.htm)
It's not the prettiest, but when it goes close to 250mph and it houses a rolls royce helicopter turbine engine, we're talking one stupidly quick bike!!
only 10 in the world, so if you got a £100,000 to spare see if u can get one!! ;)
... for me ofcourse, as a present
check out the manufacturers site for full spec's

Dunno if you noticed on the web site, but that bike is in some cruddy new fast and furious rehash involving superbikes.
Hope they didn't damage it?!!
If you care, i certainly don't, the film is called Torque

Heh, looks like someone watched too many episodes of Street Hawk or something in the eighties. :hehe:
Shame there's not more pics, like Bill said. I know I'd be putting it about all over if I'd built it.
I love this line though -
It feeds on anything that burns.

Yeah, with that bit i tend to imagine the engineers huddled round watching back to the future going "lets make a bike with a jet engine thats runs off your household rubbish"
guess we'll have to settle for anything pertroleum based for now.
I like the fact they cant say for sure what speed it tops out at since they cant get tires that can take anything above 220mph!!!

I think half a dozen or so where sold for quarter million apeice in the cristmas catalogue of one of those incredibly high end mail order companies. They were being sold as "non working models" if i'm not mistaken that was for legal reasons(duh) and meant that it didn't include a chain or something.
