Hey guys,

Im looking to pick your brains a little. Im in discussions about this (http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?p=876952#post876952) second hand rad and waterblock for the HTPC. Anyone know anything about the Neptune rads? I cant find much out from google and Spawny has lost the details of it as its fairly old, Id like to know how it would compare to a BIX or a BIP. I know the block isnt going to be the best performer but thats not a great consideration at this time.

Looks like a smaller heatercore to me. I've been wrong before though.

^^ Seems to be a smaller core style rad, like a Black Ice or whatnot.

I used to have OCWC Atlantis CPU & GPU blocks - I sold the GPU block but still have the CPU one kicking about. They were a pretty good internal design but had a few probs with the Lexan tops leaking and one of the bolt heads fouling some fittings.
Jess (iirc) who did 'em seemed to be a good bloke with lots of input for the community.

Don't recall much 'bout the rads off the top of my head though, sorry.

Ah, just looked at the linked thread - that's not the block I was thinking of but fwiw, Spawny's always seemed a stand-up guy through the correspondence I've had with him. :)
