anyway I wanna know if there are any methods of attaching plexi window to hole I cut to it without the molding,The hole is much larger then the window becuase of washers so I'm gonna need something to connect them...any ideas would be appreciated.

so i guess your haveing truble getting the window in the molding please tell us why is the window too big or is it too small what.
if its anything like mine it wont be easy to get the window in but it is possibul. the easyest way i found was a little bit of sopy water around the edges of the window or even try soaking your molding in hot water in order to make it more flexbul and easyer to work with. you have to work it in little by little it took me about 30 mintues to get the window in and another hour to lock the locking strip. also try puting the plexy in though the back side. dont get frusterated and dont try to force it with meddle tools that will just scrach the window. however a flat head screwdriver is useful for the locking strip.
i hope this helps.
(i also found swarewords dont seem to make it any easyer lol)

Ok, try these methods,
Method 1:
Grab masking tape and flat head screw driver.
First, remove the molding from the panel.
Grab some masking tape and tape the molding around plexi window (tightly) on one side. overlapping molding and plexi, not the channel portion of molding.
Now place the plexi/molding on carpeted floor (tape side down)
Place your top panel over the plexi/molding and work the molding through with flat head screw driver while applying pressure with your knee to the panel.
Method 2:
Same as above, but tape the molding to the panel instead, and gently work plexi into rubber molding.
These methods still require patience and practice. I used to install these window kits for customers when I first started out. One of those products that was poorly planned and they sourced the cheapest material possible.
I refuse to do them now. If you decide to bail on it. I can understand

tried it all now ...how water soap etc I quit.
gonna find some metal to attach with..or plastic....or watever..if I can find anything I'm just gonna tape that bastard...
Well at least now I know what to expect with my second window...its a Server window HUGE I will cut 2-3 inches smaller then plexi then use double sided tape.

Shoot me your shipping addy "pcbuilder@mnpctech"
I'll send ya some proper edge molding (http://www.mnpctech.com/UChannel.html), then you can just tape a piece of plexi under that window w/ double side adhesive and move on :D

Or you can also just get another piece of plexi and cut it bigger than the hole (would still use mnpctech's edge molding for the panel though as I have myself) and attach it underneath either with screws, rivets, tape, epoxy, etc.
A new piece of plexi won't cost you that much.

I have been having the exact same problem with that molding, I just gave up on it except I ordered my window kits from http://cuttingedgecasemods.com I think I will try and cut the plexi window into a square and use it in a futare mod, as for the top I think I will sell it.
I like the ideas, now this case can be saved after all.

Hey Godfoot, Do you have any links to where I can buy plexi?
I wont use it on this current project but I will use it on my future mod/s.
I ordered my window kit from Bestbyte.com they are a great company they just have bad window kits lol
I will order some molding for myserver window (L shaped) if I have success with the smaller one :) I'm also getting some Modders mesh, there are so many great parts in that store I havent noticed before.

Go to homedepot and pick up a sheet or see if you can get a scrap piece for dirt cheap then score it down to your measurements
OR
Go here http://www.cuttingedgecasemods.com/windows/windows.htm at the bottom of the page are blank windows.

I have 2 washers from each kit they are nearly identical in hole size, besides I already did the cut lol unless your refering to the L shaped server one.I dont think problem is with the washers, becuase many ppl on many forums have same issue its the molding but thanks for the offer zero :)

biggiy6 hit the nail on the head (twice). The link he provided is cheap for plexi, but I don't know what they charge for shipping.
Home Depot, Lowes, Menards (or any major hardware store like them) should also carry plexi, (perspex for those across the pond ;)) possibly even Lexan and the price would likely be comparable since you wouldn't have to pay shipping. Maybe even less.

Shipping is good with cuttingedge. Depending on how far the drive is to the hardware store (i know some ppl have to drive an hour to get to it) it might be cheaper to have it shipped and save gas but if you live close then go there and pick up a piece, no wait time and not as expensive.

In my case shipping would do me better because I do not drive and there are no Home Depots are any hardware stores that even know what "plexi" is lol
I would have to pay 2$ each visit to take train to get there too 2$ back.
The 1st time he gave me link I thought that site had the cheap kits and didnt look further into it thats why I asked where I can get windows lol;)

Oh yeah, that silly washer they include
Another problem I've seen with "those" window kits is the plexi is liable to pop out if accidently bumped into

haha I was wondering the same thing...work all that time install it and have it pop out when wiping dust off it lol
I think their should be a stickie warning people to beware of these cheap window kits...its NOT worth the money even if its 10$ cheaper then quality ones.

What I want to do is buy a neon blue or green acrylic sheet form either US Plastic's or Home Depot and then rivet it onto a nice and clean cut panel. Besides rivets, I would prefer the screws Dutch and MNPC reccomended in my YY Cube Case thread. That would look really nice and lose the "Factory" look that's found on Lian Li and Coolermaster windowed panels. I hate the windows kits every1 sells, they are a pain to get on and pop off when you're done - I had a window pop out and it made me soo mad that I threw the panel outside and nearly set the window on fire.

I just bought some modders mesh :D an idea came to me after I bought it....maybe I should use the mesh to cover the hole in combination with the molding...;)
I would need to buy 2 more tho, this one if for another cut I plan on I will get the other 2 when I have some spare $$.
I also received the Uline molding today,I would have to use it on my larg window cut it wont fit the small one :(
I'd like to thank Mnpctech for the uline I TRULY appreciate it.
