for some reason i dont see how that in anyway cooled the system. i mean wouldent haveing a hudge flame comeing off the top of your computer heat it up more than anything. but besides that its hella funny to watch.

Some people are good at stuff like that. If it was my case, I'd have no house anymore.

whoa, that's awesome! I think the cooling comes from the gas being evaporated off of the CPU block, then burned. Pretty impressive...then again, 2 foot flames coming out of computers are generally impressive, but only if said flames are intentional ;)

Same principal, but he's firing it with butane. (you can see part way through the video that he fills the blue NOS tank with a yellow aerosol looking thing, best bet is that its butane since the markings indicate its for cigarette lighters).
Basically, heat lowers the pressure and in turn cools the liquid that is being held under pressure. The liquid is heated again by the CPU, which raises the pressure, and the whole thing cycles (or is kept in check) by the heat. Interesting principal.
Its been in use for years in RV air conditioners.
