What odds would you give a self-taught engineer who left school at 16 and decided to build his own production cars? Ok, to be fair, there were 20 years in between - 20 years when Lee Noble developed the engineering skills to build such cars as the Ascari, and the Ultima: both GT racers in their own right but the latter also used as a testbed for McLaren F1 components. But then in 1998, Lee Noble went into partnership with Tony Moy (founder of travel company Page and Moy) with the idea of building a serious production road car.
