Ok, I'm planning a watercooling project and I've ordered some parts already.

First off I've got a HWLabs Black Ice Pro 2 Radiator

I've got a zalman cpu heatsink here

Then I've got a watercool ab-k maxi resevoir

And finally I have one of the c-systems pump

Its ssoooooooo tiny look at it compared to my new mobile!

What I'm wanting is to mount the resevoir straight onto the back of the little pump like the pic below

http://www.gordyhand.co.uk/albums/waterworks/DSC02421.jpg

But I dont have the right connector to do this, the pump has 1/4 threads and the input to the res has a bigger thread is designed to connect straight to Eheim 1046/1048. Where do I find a connector that allows me to do this with the c-systems pump?

I'm planning on using 10mm/8mm tubing with quick connectors throughout the system if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Looking at the res it looks like the eheim side is not threaded as I thought it was :(

Ok looking on the web the intake size of the ehiem is 13mm (~1/2")
And the pump is 1/4" so an adapter like this

1/4" NPT 1/2" Barb - Brass

Edit: I think first measurement is wrong as the res has a hole about 3/4" grrrr.

I think that pipe nipples and a short length of copper pipe are your friends.

You shouold be able to get pipe nipples for both of those threads easily, and possibly even a reduction fitting from the res's 3/4" to the 1/4" that it looks like the c750 takes. Sweat the 3/4" NPT to 1/4" reducer to the 1/4" nipple and you should be golden.

search www.mcmaster.com with pipe nipples...

I think I need two adapters a 1/4 to 1/2 adapter and a 1/2 to 3/4 with barb connector.

I've found some on here
